Childbirth Planning
Let's talk about what labor is like. What are your hopes, your fears, questions... Lay them out in a way to more easily communicate with your partner, and your healthcare provider(s), so that you feel confident in your birth team and being able to communicate your needs.
On-call Support
2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your estimated due date I am at your service during early labor, we can talk over any questions or concerns. I'm just a phone call away.
Continuous Labor Support
Support at home, hospital or birthcenter. I will be available to you through the birth of your baby. Providing a hand to hold, partnership thru contractions, being a quiet witness and maintaining your space, offering comfort measures, staying with you and your partner and your new addition.
2 Postpartum Visits
To check in on how you and your baby are fairing. Making sure you have a good network of love and support. Helping you integrate your birth and new role. & YES, adoring your new baby.
Services
When you consider birth as an involuntary process involving old, mammalian structures of the brain, you set aside the assumption that a woman must learn to give birth.
It is implicit in the mammalian interpretation that one cannot actively help a woman to give birth.
The goal is to avoid disturbing her unnecessarily.

Placentophagy may seem strange, but it is not uncommon, and is very beneficial postpartum! Based on the ancient chinese art, I will steam and dehydrate the placenta into a power and create a vitamin like pill.

As part of my doula services, or separately, I would be honored to take photos of your birth and take notes of occurences throughout. I type up the notes that you may use along with your photos to write your birth story, store in your baby book, or create a scrap book!
Please note: While I am not a professional photographer, with a nice camera, and the ability to do photo edits, I have been known to catch candid moments to remember. Provide me with a camera and we'll record these precious moments together.

Hablo un poco de espanol. Soy Peruana-Americana y aprendi espanol en la casa i en la escuela. He ido a 3 partos con familias quien necesitan ayuda para traducir sus necesidades.
Solamente hablo espanol pricipante a intermedio. Pero, si puedes hablar un poco de ingles, creo que podemos trabajar juntos con gracia y con los medicos quien pueden hablar espanol tambien.
Vamos a tener una entrevista para ver si podemos trabajar juntos para su parto.
